• Valid Driver's License
• OSHA Certification or Training
• 2-3 years job‑related experience in healthcare settings (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license and transportation
• Working knowledge of methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work
• Some knowledge of methods, materials and tools used in minor maintenance repairs

• Maintain all Caring Health facilities in a safe, functional and presentable manner.
• Assist in performing general repair/maintenance (electrical, building, plumbing, landscaping, painting, carpentry, basic remodeling).
• Assist in maintaining facility-wide recycling program.
• Access doors and windows for proper closing and heat/ac retention; repair exterior/interior locks as needed.
• Maintain aesthetics of all sites; ensure visible signage, presentable window treatments, and grounds maintenance; sweep and dispose of trash as necessary.
• Help facilitate Emergency Action Plans, including bomb threats and evacuation procedures.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and security of all maintenance equipment and supplies.
• Request maintenance supplies and equipment as needed from maintenance supervisor or designee.
• Respond to all work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties related to maintenance/facilities as required.
• Use a computer and work at a computer workstation, viewing a CRT and have some knowledge of a keyboard.
• Be able to work long and arduous hours, outside of regular hours when needed.

Requires performing heavy, fatiguing work including climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping and lifting containers, materials and equipment up to 75 pounds.
