Position Summary

The Property Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in protecting and enhancing the value, safety, and functionality of company properties. This position supports operational excellence by proactively maintaining building systems, responding to maintenance needs, and contributing to preventative maintenance strategies that minimize downtime, extend asset life, and ensure high-quality environments for customers and employees.

This role partners with the Property Maintenance Supervisor and cross-functional teams to support property performance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of maintenance operations.

  • Pay range: $18.00 – $23.00 hourly
Supervisory Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Asset Protection & Preventative Maintenance
  • Perform maintenance and repair of facilities, grounds, and building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, landscaping, and related infrastructure.
  • Identify, assess, and recommend preventative maintenance and repair priorities to support long-term property performance and cost control.
  • Support the planning and execution of maintenance schedules to minimize disruptions and extend equipment life.
Operational Effectiveness
  • Execute daily maintenance activities across multiple property locations with a focus on efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Evaluate systems and facilities to identify risks, operational issues, and repair needs in coordination with the Property Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Complete work assignments based on technical expertise, urgency, and operational impact.
Safety, Compliance & Risk Reduction
  • Follow and promote safe work practices and proper use of equipment, chemicals, and materials.
  • Assist with safety meetings, training sessions, and compliance initiatives.
  • Help ensure facilities meet applicable operational and safety standards.
Team & Organizational Support
  • Assist in training team members on equipment use, maintenance procedures, and safe work methods.
  • Collaborate with construction teams and other departments on improvement projects and operational needs as required.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all customer and property-related matters.
Service & Responsiveness
  • Respond to maintenance requests across property locations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to urgent issues as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities
  • Working knowledge of building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and grounds equipment.
