HOUSEKEEPER
The Housekeeper is responsible for daily cleaning of the apartment community’s public facilities, common areas, and grounds. Also responsible for cleaning make‑ready process in a manner consistent with the property’s operational objectives under the supervision of the Community Manager prior to move‑in.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Community housekeeping
- Regular/daily onsite attendance required
- General cleaning and trash removal of grounds and residential areas, including make‑ready units and common areas
- Cleaning and preparing vacant units for move‑in
- Cleaning and upkeep daily of community’s offices, amenities, etc.
- Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner
- Follow Asset key policy and report observed violations to the Community Manager
- Utilize property resources, equipment and supplies economically
- Perform additional tasks requested by Community Manager
- Manage excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround and responsiveness
- Project a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives and public recognition
- Ensure consistency in dealing with residents on all matters
- Enforce policies delegated by the immediate supervisor
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
Bachelor’s degree preferred or one year of experience in the housing industry - Basic computer skills required for on‑site software functions
- Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
- Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, step stools, move in tight and confined spaces, stand or sit for prolonged periods, repeat wrist/hand motions
- Frequently required to lift objects up to 25 lbs.; may need overtime, weekends, night hours (emergencies); exposure to hazardous chemicals
- May need to work overhead to reach or move objects up to 25 lbs.; operate machinery and power tools; drive motor vehicles/golf carts; work in extreme temperatures; work in precipitation, wind, or enclosed spaces; traverse flat and uneven terrain
Salary Range: $15 per hour to $19 per hour.
