Changeover Conversion Crew Lead PT

Responsibilities

• Supervise and work with conversion part‑time operations staff for the set‑up and breakdown functions of the facility for events (i.e., stage, risers, basketball floor, hockey dasher system, chairs and tables, lobby area, dressing rooms, press room, etc.).
• Perform repairs and maintenance as needed to facility and/or venue equipment.
• Report on all issues, including areas of concern, to supervisor and management immediately.
• Motivate and lead the conversion team to carry out tasks.
• Assist as needed or directed in all areas of operations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of basic hand and power tools, and the methods to erect and dismantle various items including chairs, risers and stages.
• Ability to multi‑task and to communicate professionally and effectively with employees at all levels.
• Maintain effective working relationships with employees, staff, guests, etc.
• General knowledge of functions, operations and equipment of a multi‑purpose sports and entertainment facility.
• Constantly position self to complete installations over, under and through.
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders or stairs and move/lift materials and equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to access all areas of the facility which include walking, bending, kneeling, standing, climbing stairs and ladders.
• Occasionally operate machinery such as small hand and power tools.
• Available to work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.

Minimum level of education:
High School Diploma or its equivalency.
