Maintenance Technician

Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield is an inpatient facility for children and adolescents. We are focused on providing exceptional treatment and support to children, adolescents, and their families through a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach.

• Repairs sheetrock, paints, changes light bulbs, ceiling tile maintenance, clean carpets, strip, clean and bluff floors as needed.
• Completes audit of electrical and HVAC systems as scheduled.
• Maintains audit reports as needed.
• Performs routine repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Operates inside and outside equipment to ensure safety of lawn and parking areas due to mowing, snow, or ice as needed.
• Ensures playground equipment is functioning safely.
• Observes all safety guidelines within the facility.

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have 1-year maintenance of commercial building, electrical and mechanical equipment including air conditioning.
• Knowledgeable and able to observe all safety measures.
• Knowledgeable of electrical and mechanical equipment and able to properly maintain department’s tools and equipment.
• Able to perform sheetrock repairs and painting.
• Able to do routine labor and lift at least 40 pounds.
