Custodian; -hr Rotating Shifts

Position: Custodian (12-hr Rotating Shifts 6:00AM - 6:30PM)

Cold Zone Manager

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and orderly. The person occupying this position will track, document, and maintain a comprehensive custodial program.

Custodian Duties/Responsibilities:

• Clean, stock, and keep restrooms in good working order
• Sweep, mop, and polish floor on a regular and as needed basis
• Remove trash and other debris daily
• Dust equipment, furniture, and fixtures as required
• Clean windows, mirrors, and all glass surfaces

• Assist with minor repairs and maintenance related items
• Change light bulbs andassistwith other maintenance related items
• Operate industrial equipment such as a forklift, scissor lift, mechanical sweeper, andsimilarequipment
• Follow Safety and Food Safety Polices & Procedures.

Custodian Skills/Abilities:

• General knowledge of warehouse operations

Custodian

Education and Experience:

• Required:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred:
  One year of warehouse work

Custodian Physical and/or Travel Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing or walking
• Must be able tolift upto 50 pounds at a time
