Custodian
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and orderly. The person occupying this position will track, document, and maintain a comprehensive custodial program.
Custodian Duties/Responsibilities:
- Clean, stock, and keep restrooms in good working order
- Sweep, mop, and polish floor on a regular and as needed basis
- Remove trash and other debris daily
- Dust equipment, furniture, and fixtures as required
- Clean windows, mirrors, and all glass surfaces
- Assist with minor repairs and maintenance related items
- Change light bulbs andassistwith other maintenance related items
- Operate industrial equipment such as a forklift, scissor lift, mechanical sweeper, andsimilarequipment
- Follow Safety and Food Safety Polices & Procedures.
Custodian Skills/Abilities:
- General knowledge of warehouse operations
Custodian
Education and Experience:
- Required:
High school diploma or equivalent - Preferred:
One year of warehouse work
Custodian Physical and/or Travel Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing or walking
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
