Groundskeeper

Safety, convenience and comfort are primary benefits provided to Members and guests at our Club. This position is essential in delivering those benefits with responsibility for assisting in the safety, functionality, appearance, and cleanliness of all Club facilities, equipment, and grounds, including the physical working conditions for employees. This includes new additions, renovations, landscaping, maintenance and cleaning of the Club.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and with team members, has a practical mind and pays close attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage and upkeep all ongoing landscaping including mowing, mulching, trimming trees, blowing leaves, removing cuttings, log splitting, stocking firewood, and additional maintenance as needed.
• Work alongside Facilities Management to maintain and upkeep the Club grounds and Clubhouse
• Conduct general Clubhouse upkeep including painting, power-washing, carpentry, etc.
• Participate in housekeeping duties as needed.

Skills

• Basic experience with grounds keeping and yard work
• Good physical condition with ability to lift at least 75 lbs.
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
