Mid‑Level Operations Technician
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Mid‑Level Operations Technician to manage and support complex operational systems. The ideal candidate has a solid technical background, proven troubleshooting skills, and the ability to independently perform maintenance and operational tasks to ensure optimal system performance. PrimaryResponsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on operational equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Monitor system performance, analyze data, and implement improvements.
- Document maintenance activities, operational procedures, and system changes.
- Assist in training junior staff and onboarding new team members.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Support project initiatives and system upgrades as needed.
- Respond to any anomalies.
- Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and system manuals.
- Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency.
- Active TS/SCI is required to be considered, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Polygraph before starting with Leidos.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in operations, maintenance, or technical support.
- Strong understanding of industrial, mechanical, or electrical systems.
- Proficient with diagnostic tools, software, and technical documentation.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Certifications such as OSHA, HVAC, Electrical, or Mechanical certifications.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving accountability.
- Ability to solve problems quickly and make decisions under pressure.
- Comfortable working across multiple systems and managing real‑time operations.
