Compensation:
Starting at $32.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
- Perform necessary maintenance of HVAC equipment as assigned.
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance procedures on designated equipment following manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failure.
- Serve as the lead mechanic in assigned area(s) and be responsible for the overall condition of the neighborhood(s).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a residential apartment complex, construction, or commercial building maintenance.
- Working knowledge of residential building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, flooring, and appliances.
- Working knowledge of HVAC.
- Ability to work a reasonable amount of scheduled and on‑call overtime as necessary.
- Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Current EPA certification to handle refrigerants.
- Awareness that state regulations and requirements may apply and take precedence.
