We are currently seeking an Upper School Math Teacher for the  school year.

Experience and Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field; advanced degree(s) preferable, not required

  • Teaching certification desired

  • Must have content knowledge/mastery of Algebra I, Geometry (Regular/Honors), Algebra II, Pre Calculus (Regular/Honors/AP), AP Statistics, and additional upper level math courses

  • Experience working with high school-aged children

  • Patience, flexibility, and a sense of humor

  • A solid understanding of child development, varied learning styles, and effective strategies for dealing with such differences

  • Well-developed, effective classroom management skills

  • Strong organization skills

  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written

  • Works well in a collaborative model with administrators, other teachers, and parents

  • Experience with integrating technology into the classroom

  • Ability to engage and inspire students, parents, and families

Compensation and Benefits:
