Training Instructor / Specialist, Learning & Development Specialist
Our client, a leading organization in the learning and development space, is seeking an Instructional Designer II to join their team. As an Instructional Designer II, you will be part of the Learning & Development department supporting business stakeholders and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent stakeholder management abilities, and a proven ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Instructional Designer II
Location: Stamford, CT or Charlotte, NC (Onsite)
Pay Range: $35/hr
What’s the Job?Create and maintain instructor-led training (ILT), video, and eLearning content using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Xyleme, Adobe Creative Cloud, Vyond, and AI-powered development platforms.
Conduct training needs assessments and recommend effective learning solutions to address performance gaps.
Leverage AI tools and modern technologies to accelerate content development and enhance learning experiences.
Manage learning projects from analysis through implementation using the ADDIE instructional design model.
Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather requirements, review content, and incorporate feedback.
3-7 years of instructional design experience with strong knowledge of instructional design principles and best practices.
Hands-on expertise with Articulate Storyline and experience developing eLearning solutions.
Proven success in rapid content development and managing multiple projects independently.
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree in Instructional Design or a related field is a plus.
