The Facilities Manager will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of all corporate restaurant locations through preventive maintenance programs and/or repair of company equipment at each location. This role oversees facilities maintenance at multiple restaurants on a national level and directs the initiation of repairs, tracking of service vendors, and service calls for restaurant equipment, furniture, fixtures, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
Responsibilities- Ensure short and long-term facilities objectives align with the company’s core values of commitment to excellence, continuous improvement, and attention to detail.
- Execute the facilities maintenance program to guarantee restaurants operate per standards by leading and educating restaurant management teams.
- Conduct regular walkthroughs of operating locations and quarterly audits.
- Assemble and maintain complete project records and close-out documents.
- Oversee remodels, renovations and construction improvements on an ongoing basis.
- Schedule, coordinate, and inspect equipment during monthly intervals based on end-of-warranty timelines.
- Collaborate with the VP of Construction to manage construction, maintenance, and development of all restaurants; drive efficiencies.
- Train with the VP of Development and Construction and other leaders on the new-build process, manage expectations with general contractors, and serve as liaison through restaurant openings.
- Stay informed on latest techniques, trends, and technologies relevant to facilities management.
- Maintain high standards of facility appearance and operational readiness.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service needs across locations with composure under pressure.

- Understanding of carpentry, painting, cabinetry, drywall, tile and related trades.
- Ability to develop routine preventive maintenance programs for buildings and equipment.
- Experience with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems; general handyman skills; and ability to manage other duties as assigned.
- Experience with scheduled maintenance and upkeep of air scrubbers, concrete floor finishing, and HVAC filter replacement.
Technical:
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools used in restaurant repair.
- Experience in commercial building maintenance/repair.
- Familiarity with working with Power, Water, Gas, and Utility companies and field mechanics.
- Ability to use Excel, Smartsheet, and Eco Trak to manage and forecast repair work.
Language:
- English
- Basic Spanish (preferred but not required)
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of related experience; prior restaurant industry experience.
- Prior facilities experience with multi-location enterprises (e.g., restaurant brand, hospital, college campus, airport).
- Ability to identify, source, and oversee subcontractors; review estimates and manage close-out items.
- Experience overseeing subcontractors and hiring tradespeople; ability to order appropriate tradespeople and materials.
- Experience reading building plans; highly organized with record-keeping for scheduled maintenance and warranty cycles.
- Ability to multitask and manage timelines; valid driver’s license.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff, management, and leadership.
- Workweek Monday through Friday with on-call availability for emergencies or critical business needs; flexible schedule including weekends as needed.
- Travel to all properties within the expanding portfolio is required.
- Starting at $85,000/year, depending on experience
