Position Summary

We are seeking a hands‑on Senior Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operation of our commercial real estate portfolio. The successful candidate will lead by example, working alongside an experienced maintenance crew while coordinating projects, interacting with ownership and property management, and ensuring exceptional service for more than 75 commercial tenants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day‑to‑day maintenance and operation of the portfolio.
  • Lead and work alongside an experienced in‑house maintenance team.
  • Perform hands‑on maintenance and repairs when needed while overseeing large projects.
  • Coordinate outside vendors, subcontractors, and specialty trades.
  • Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs.
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing, lighting, loading dock, and other building repairs.
  • Communicate professionally with tenants, ownership, property management, vendors, architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Prioritize multiple service requests across a portfolio of more than 75 tenants.
  • Maintain work orders, maintenance records, and project documentation using industry technology and Microsoft Teams.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance situations as required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial facilities management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general construction trades.
  • Working knowledge of preventive maintenance and commercial building operations.
  • Experience supervising maintenance personnel and subcontractors.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, smartphones, and industry‑related technology.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
