We are currently looking for a Building Maintenance Worker to join our Administrative Services team! This individual will perform routine maintenance and repair work within facility operations.
Work Hours:
8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday
Primary Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency situations such as leaks, flooding, locks, etc.
- Repair and maintain in good working order and condition, all Bank facilities, both interior and exterior
- Perform light painting, masonry, carpentry and plumbing at all facilities; replacement of ceiling tiles, light bulbs and exit & emergency lights; cleaning of air vents and blowers
- Perform light duties where light moving is required, as directed
- Respond to light plumbing, carpentry, and painting projects as they arise
- Perform quarterly night lighting inspections
- Responsible for stocking inventory;
Lifting and moving of heavy boxes required - Monitor Bank parking lots at 117 and 123 Prospect St. for unauthorized vehicles
- Required to travel to all Bank facilities; work indoor/outdoor, boiler/mechanical rooms as well as non-office areas
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements/
Qualifications:
- Equivalent to a High school or vocational diploma and 1 to 2 years relevant experience
- Prior experience in an office, business environment, or school setting is preferred
- Basic knowledge of boilers/HVAC
- Basic maintenance, math, language, and reading skills
- Valid drivers license and insurance certificate required
- Moderate lifting required with time spent standing, bending, ladder climbing and walking
Wage range: $30,000 - $45,000
Salary commensurate with experience
