Job Summary

As a CBRE, GDS Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for basic cleaning duties including mopping, sweeping, trash disposal, and ensuring assigned areas remain clean.

• Conduct inspections of cleaning areas for security breaches or hazards.
• Report suspicious activities or security concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Complete required training on security protocols and emergency procedures.
• Provide daily cleaning support to high‑traffic areas as directed.
• Stock bathrooms with supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment, including moving furniture.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Keep cleaning supplies in a safe, secure area.
• Complete standardized cleaning processes per company standards.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Attend staff meetings and in‑service training sessions.
• Follow work routines and standards.
• Use procedures to solve simple problems with limited discretion.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required). Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may also be considered.

This position requires an active U.S. Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and maintain clearance eligibility throughout employment.

• Minimum of 2 years of job‑related experience (required).
• Experience in facilities, maintenance, custodial, or a similar field preferred.

• No specific certifications required. Relevant certifications in maintenance, safety, or facilities operations are a plus.

• Occasional exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, and chemicals.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Follow established work routines and procedures.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
• Ability to efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames.
• Reliable and dependable, able to work independently or as part of a team.

Hourly pay estimated around $19.20, subject to variation. Eligible for benefits including medical, well‑being, financial planning, and short‑term incentive programs.
