Job DutiesWestern State Hospital is seeking a full time Housekeeping Worker to provide a safe, sanitary, and attractive environment for patients, staff, and visitors at Western State Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure bathrooms and shower rooms are cleaned daily.
- Ensure all trash is removed daily.
- Floors are mopped daily.
- Walls and ceilings are cleaned as needed.
- Dush mop and wet mop floors daily.
- Remove trash.
- Buffing weekly.
- Retirement with cash match.

- General knowledge in cleaning bathrooms, bedrooms, dayrooms, floor finishings, and cleaning/operating housekeeping equipment.

- Read, write, perform basic math calculations; lift heavy objects; prolonged standing; walking on various surfaces; climb ladders; work on knees; and work in various conditions.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience in housekeeping.
- Valid Virginia Driver's license.
- Bilingual.
