Position Summary
:
To oversee all staff and service in the Food and Beverage outlets. To ensure that the highest level of service is provided at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

Carry out standards and procedures

Monitor staff arrival & departure

Assist servers during peek hours

Supervise D.R. setup

Responsible for group billing

All opening and closing duties

Ability to resolve guest and team member complaints

Extensive Food and Wine Knowledge

To ensure all opening and closing procedures are carried out in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures

Having a thorough knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties’ products and services

To ensure all equipment in the department is correctly used, maintained and properly stored and is always kept clean, that inventory preparation is carried out and ensuring department is running efficiently

To be responsible for any monetary transactions during shift

All other duties as assigned

Secondary Responsibilities:

Inspection of Dining Room

Knowledge of daily specials

Monitor stock on daily bases

Assist with inventory control

Professional Requirements:

Hotel and Restaurant Manager Course

Communication skills written and oral

Computer and monitory skills

Able to recognize and respect customer and team member confidentiality

Smart serve certificate

Personal Attributes:

Exceptional high standard of hygiene

Professional attitude, flexible, dependable, team player

Must be honest

Physical Requirements:

Prioritize demands of Team Members, other departments and supervisors to meet all objectives

Balance demands of Team members in terms of hours worked versus shift priority and gratuity distribution
