Trius Winery Restaurant is part of a Canadian winemaking legacy spanning more than 40 years. Set between the Niagara Escarpment and Lake Ontario, Trius brings together world-class VQA wines and wine‑inspired cuisine rooted in Niagara’s farms, growers, and seasonal ingredients. Led by Executive Chef Frank Dodd, our culinary team creates refined, contemporary dishes designed to showcase both place and pairing.

What experiences, skills and knowledge this teammate will bring- Completion of a Chef’s Certificate / Apprenticeship Program or previous hands‑on kitchen experience in a professional or fine‑dining environment
- A strong team‑first mindset and clear, professional communication skills
- A working knowledge of culinary terms, techniques, and best practices
- Curiosity, enthusiasm, and a desire to learn from experienced culinary leaders
- Pride in craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a commitment to high standards
- Supporting daily food production and service for their assigned station
- Preparing and executing dishes to the quality, consistency, and presentation standards set by the Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs
- Practicing proper food preparation, portioning, and garnishing techniques
- Maintaining clean, organized workstations and completing mise en place as required
- Following all health, safety, and food handling standards
- Communicating effectively with the kitchen team to support smooth service
- Contributing positively to a collaborative, professional kitchen culture
- Fine‑dining kitchen environment with a strong focus on quality, precision, and teamwork
- Full‑time hours available through peak season (not guaranteed year‑round)
- Schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physically demanding role requiring extended periods of standing and working in warm kitchen conditions
- Use of commercial kitchen equipment and tools
