Summary:

The Maintenance Technician at OSP is responsible for supporting the overall maintenance, repair, and appearance of the property to ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for owners, guests, and employees. This position performs preventative maintenance, responds to work orders, and assists with repairs related to building systems, guest units, common areas, and operational equipment. Responsibilities may include basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, snow removal, and general facility upkeep.

The Maintenance Technician works closely with other departments to address maintenance needs efficiently while maintaining OSP’s service standards, safety protocols, and operational expectations.

Looking for a full-time team member to work up to 40 hours per week, year-round. Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Various shifts times generally start at 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

• Coordinate and prioritize work requests with Lead Maintenance Technician, Facilities Manager and Director of Facilities.
• Ability to use basic troubleshooting skills to diagnose plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and appliance related problems.
• Knowledge of tools, materials, and practices associated with building and grounds maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals.
• Performs carpentry work from plans, oral instructions, sketches, and blueprints.
• Experience with maintaining pools and spas preferred.
• Ability to become a Certified Pool Operator within one year of hire; paid for by the company.
• Familiar with computers and computer related software.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with co-workers, management, owners, and guests.
