Speech Pathologist
Make a difference in the lives of young learners by providing speech and language services in a dynamic school environment. This full‑time contract opportunity at the intermediate level focuses on supporting students in 2nd through 4th grades during the school year. As a valued team member, you’ll play an important role in fostering communication skills and empowering students to reach their greatest potential.
Qualifications- Masters degree in Communicative Disorders or a related field
- Current Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Illinois
- Professional Educator License (PEL) certification required
- Previous experience working with elementary‑aged students is highly desirable
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement and generalization of skills
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and documentation
- Maintain accurate records and uphold district and professional standards
- Contribute to a supportive, inclusive educational environment for all students
