School Speech Language Pathologist - Steger, Illinois

This full‑time contract opportunity at the intermediate level focuses on supporting students in 2nd through 4th grades during the  school year. As a valued team member, you’ll play an important role in fostering communication skills and empowering students to reach their greatest potential.

• Masters degree in Communicative Disorders or a related field
• Current Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Illinois
• Professional Educator License (PEL) certification required
• Previous experience working with elementary‑aged students is highly desirable
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement and generalization of skills
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and documentation
• Maintain accurate records and uphold district and professional standards
• Contribute to a supportive, inclusive educational environment for all students
