Job Summary

Seasonal janitor positions at SSC, a nationwide facility service provider for educational environments.

TAMU Tarleton Jn - 503 North Neblett Avenue, Stephenville, TX 76401. Openings at other district locations available.

Seasonal schedule:
Monday through Saturday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Full-time and part-time available). Fixed pay rate: $12.00 per hour.

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and mop floors using approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture to facilitate cleaning and reposition as needed.
• Clean assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment; sanitize all surfaces using the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain safe and clean environments for staff, visitors, and students.
• Identify areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
• Complete all tasks assigned by a supervisor.
• Perform duties in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpet.
• Contribute to the team; exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Prior custodial experience preferred. Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
