Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role supports maintenance plans, resolves technical issues, and contributes to equipment availability in compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Responsibilities- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and technical systems according to maintenance plans and procedures.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or technical faults and carry out repairs within defined competence and authority.
- Support execution of planned maintenance activities and respond to unplanned breakdowns.
- Carry out maintenance tasks using internal procedures, technical documentation, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with production and other plant partners to minimize operational disruptions.
- Record completed work, inspections, and findings in the maintenance management system.
- Support spare‑parts usage by identifying required materials and reporting inventory needs.
- Assist with minor building repairs and general facility maintenance as assigned.
- Participate in root‑cause analysis and corrective actions related to equipment failures.
- Follow health, safety, environmental, and food safety requirements and report non‑standard situations.
- Secondary technical or vocational education in mechanics, electrical systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial or plant maintenance.
- Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and maintenance documentation.
- Practical knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance methods.
- Basic computer skills for maintenance systems, documentation, and reporting.
- Reliability, responsibility, and ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
- Willingness to work in physically demanding and operational plant environments.
