71-26 Facilities Maintenance ManagerThis is a working manager position within the Facilities Maintenance Division responsible for overseeing the maintenance, custodial and operational needs of City facilities. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, the position is expected to perform maintenance duties and provide custodial coverage as necessary to maintain service levels across City facilities. The position serves as the primary City-wide contact for facility maintenance issues, coordinating personnel, contractors, supplies and departmental requests to ensure the safe and efficient operation of City buildings and grounds.
The Facilities Maintenance Manager troubleshoots facility issues, determines the appropriate course of action to resolve maintenance needs and provides technical expertise in the care, maintenance and repair of City facilities.
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of three (3) years specialized training and experience in building technology, mechanics, maintenance management, business management or closely related field. Four (4) years of supervisory experience preferred, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Must obtain OSHA 30 within first year, as available. Valid driver’s license is required. Ability to obtain Oklahoma driver’s license within thirty days of hire.
StartingSalary
Starting salary: $76,273.60 plus a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, annual leave, sick leave, holidays, and personal days.
