There are many reasons to build your career at Carter's.How You'll Make an Impact The Custodian is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the Distribution Center, including offices, restrooms, and other areas as assigned.

Efficiently handle tasks to include cleaning of offices, break rooms, break areas, restrooms and other areas as assigned.

Maintain an adequate cleaning supply inventory.

Communicate inventory needs of cleaning supplies to the maintenance department.

Wear appropriate safety equipment/work boots and gloves as required.

Complete additional distribution functions as instructed including the support of maintenance activities.

Ability to work daily overtime while maintaining a good attendance record.

Support the Maintenance Techs in all duties as assigned including all operational areas of the Distribution Center Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively, scan with RF equipment, bend, twist, and be on your feet for shifts up to 12 hours long.

Perform other tasks as assigned.

Must Have:

Team player willing to perform various job duties to support the department and the facility objectives and key performance indicators.

A customer-service orientation willing to exceed the expectations our customers.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively, scan with RF equipment, bend, twist, and be on your feet for shifts up to 12 hours long.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others (Supervisors, Managers, and peers).Flexibility to work overtime and comply with blackout periods (no vacation or personal time allowed) during peak periods.

Preferred

Skills and Experience:

Previous custodial experience preferred.

A self-starter with a desire to exceed expectations.
