Job Title
ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN MAINTENANCE II at GDIT
ResponsibilitiesAs an Electronics Technician Maintenance II, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of nuclear submarine manufacturing. You will play a crucial role in communication, navigation and weapon system manufacturing.
- Read, understand, and interpret system diagrams and schematics in the electronics building process.
- Collaborate with team members and supervision to resolve and manage program issues that may arise.
- Adapt and work as a team to continue to meet project dates and deadlines.
- Utilize resources throughout the facility to mitigate issues and work as team members.
- Education:
Associate’s Degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience. - Experience:
1+ years of related experience. - Technical skills: IPC-J-STD soldering, crimping, lugging, knowledge of schematics and wire run lists.
- Security clearance:
Ability to obtain Secret clearance. - US citizenship required.
- Proficiency with electronic schematics, common hand tools, and multimeter usage; experience building and running cableways in electrical communication, navigation, and weapon systems.
