Maintenance Supervisor Assistant

This position is responsible for: assisting the maintenance supervisor with supervising employees to ensure acceptable employee productivity and job performance; determining priorities, assigning work, and providing direction and support to maintenance team members; providing follow-up on job completion to review job performance and work quality; identifying any safety/regulatory concerns and applicable procedures or safeguards that must be followed; following and promoting best practices related to food safety policies and procedures;

as needed, initiating orders for parts/materials and providing follow-up; as a member of the Maintenance Department staff, projecting a positive attitude while handling him or herself in a professional manner; maintaining/promoting open communication and positive working relationships with all plant personnel/departments; possessing above average mechanical/electrical aptitude and skills; having good communication skills; being highly motivated and able to work independently;

having proficient math skills; having clerical/keyboard skills required for use of computer; being highly organized with attention to detail; and as needed, being assigned to other maintenance related tasks.

Requirements:

• Must have 6 months of continuous employment with their previous employer

3x times worked maximum with Tyson Foods

90 day rehire waiting period
