Overview
Part-Time: 15 hours per week (non-exempt).
Location:
Main Library.
Reports to:
Children’s Department Assistant Manager.
We’re looking for an energetic, fun, customer-service oriented individual to act as our part-time associate in a busy Children’s Department. Duties include shelving, helping kids and their grown-ups with technology and reference questions, assisting with collection maintenance, and helping programmers prepare for and present classes.
Minimum Qualifications- LTA or equivalent college credits.
- Previous experience working with children preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) language ability a plus.
- 15 hours weekly:
Mondays & Thursdays 4-9;
Fridays 12-5; participation in weekend rotation. Schedules subject to change dependent upon Library needs.
