Maintenance Services Manager

Position Description:The Poplar Creek Public Library District is looking for an experienced Maintenance Services Manager that possesses either an HVAC Systems Stationary Engineer License or an Associates Degree in Maintenance Technology with experience maintaining mechanical systems and pumps. Responsible for the oversight of facility, related needs and the Maintenance staff. Responsible for managing building operations, maintaining building systems including heating/cooling plant operations and general maintenance of building & grounds.

Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED. College certification desired. Satisfies one of the following requirements: HVAC systems technician license; Stationary engineer license;
Associates Degree in Maintenance Technology or equivalent experience with mechanical systems/pumps;
Any professional certifications, training, licensing related to building operations and maintenance preferred.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in facility maintenance/management. Successful experience in custodial and building maintenance and related areas. Plumbing and/or electrical experience a plus.

Hours & Work Schedule:Mondays
- Fridays: 7-3;
Weekend hours as needed. Schedules subject to change based on the needs of the library. Must be on-call as needed to attend to building emergencies.
