Carlson Building Maintenance is hiring a Floor Care Technician in Streamwood, IL. In this role, you'll operate professional floor care equipment, maintain hard floor surfaces and carpets, and help keep a large retail facility clean, safe, and ready for customers each day.

No floor care experience? We can train the right candidate.

Streamwood, ILPay: $15.00 per hour Weekly Pay Every Friday

Direct-Hire Position Career Growth Opportunities What You'll DoOperate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other floor care equipment

Maintain hard floor surfaces through scrubbing, buffing, stripping, and waxing

Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpeted areas

Perform general cleaning and restroom cleaning as needed

Follow safety procedures and company cleaning standards

Inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns

Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment

Complete assigned cleaning projects independently and efficiently

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old Reliable transportation required

Ability to lift up to 45 pounds

Ability to push and pull floor care equipment

Strong attendance and reliability

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Previous floor care, janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or maintenance experience is helpful but not required

Training Provided Carlson provides hands-on training and support to help you build valuable floor care skills and succeed in your role.
