* Job Description:

**** Maintenance Technician
**** Full-Time | Early Shift (4:00 AM – 12:30 PM) | Monday–Friday (Occasional Saturdays)
**** About the Company
** With over 96 years of experience, Randolph Packing Co. in Streamwood, IL, is an industry leader in manufacturing high-quality fresh, cooked, and smoked "Old World Style" ethnic sausage, specialty sausage, and sausage-related products.
** What You’ll Do
*** Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues
* Repair or replace faulty components to restore equipment performance
* Support the installation and start-up of new equipment
* Use electrical testing and measuring instruments to identify and resolve issues
* Document maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment failures
* Track and manage spare parts usage
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability and efficiency
* Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
** What You Bring
*** High school diploma or GED
* 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
* Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
* Working knowledge of:  + Industrial electrical wiring and 3-phase systems up to 480V  + AC/DC motors and motor controls  + PLCs, drives, and control systems
* Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
* Basic computer skills for documentation
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
** Physical & Work Environment
*** Ability to stand and walk for 8–12 hours per shift in a manufacturing environment
* Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching
* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly (heavier loads with assistance)
* Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces
* Manual dexterity for tools and precision work
* Good vision (with or without corrective lenses)
** Schedule & Pay
*** First shift: 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM
* Monday–Friday;
Saturdays as needed
* Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) - $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
* Overtime opportunities when production requires#LI-KS1
