Responsibilities

Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System is looking for a dynamic Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Board certification as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for pediatric, adolescent, adults, and geriatric populations. Provide services at IOP/PHP and traditional outpatients. Full‑Time position, 40 hours per week (Monday‑Friday). After hours coverage one day per week (11am‑7:30pm).

Caseload 20‑25 patients per working day. EMR documentation. Work independently. Weekly interdisciplinary team participation. Monthly meeting with CMO.

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in nursing from accredited program (REQUIRED).
• Board Certification as PMHNP (REQUIRED).
• Minimum TWO (2) years experience as PMHNP in behavioral health (REQUIRED).
• Independent Prescription Authority preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Diplomacy and discretion are essential.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Professional demeanor and appearance required.
