We are seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to support daily inventory control and overall warehouse operations. This role coordinates the movement and flow of raw materials from receiving through production support and ensures accurate, on‑time shipping of finished goods to storage locations and customers. The Warehouse Coordinator also provides day‑to‑day oversight and coordination of Shipping/Receiving activities as directed by the Production Manager.

Warehouse

Operations & Inventory Control
  • Coordinate and support daily shipping/receiving operations and inventory control activities.
  • Move, store, and stage materials and finished goods based on production and shipping requirements.
  • Update and maintain accurate inventory locations and transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) using handheld scanners as needed.
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory audits, reconcile variances, and adjust records as appropriate.
  • Prepare, stage, and verify outbound shipments (LTL/UPS/rail/road) to ensure accuracy and on‑time performance.
  • Receive inbound materials: unload, inspect, verify documentation/quantities, complete shipping/receiving logs and QC sheets, and store product in assigned locations.
  • Ensure shipping and receiving documentation is complete and properly routed (packing lists, bills of lading, freight logs, etc.).
  • Keep warehouse areas organized, clean, and audit‑ready (including routine sweeping and general housekeeping).
Leadership & Coordination
  • Provide additional oversight, direction, coaching, and mentoring to Shipping/Receiving personnel as directed.
  • Promote accountability and ensure work is performed in accordance with GMPs and SOPs.
Safety
  • Ensure strict adherence to EH&S policies and procedures.
  • Conduct daily safety/operational document results.
  • Use forklift and equipment safely and in accordance with training and site rules.
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions immediately; proactively support safety improvements.
Quality
  • Perform required quality checks per SOPs and ensure product handling meets standards.
  • Visually inspect inbound raw materials for damage; document damage on the bill of lading before the carrier departs.
  • Ensure inbound/outbound documentation matches actual product and quantities.
  • Confirm outbound pallets are secured properly, free of damage, and meet shipment requirements.
  • Escalate quality concerns to the Facility Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor as needed.
Equipment & Facility Checks
  • Perform daily inspection of powered industrial equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) and maintain inspection documentation.
  • Support basic equipment care (including battery care where applicable) and report defects/issues.
  • Inspect dock plates, roll‑up doors, and other warehouse‑related facility items for safe operation.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills; able to coach and guide others.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a “do what it takes” attitude (hours may vary based on operational needs).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate expectations and follow up to ensure completion.
  • Ability to read English and interpret SOPs and warehouse documentation.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse flow from receiving through shipping—or ability to learn quickly.
  • Experience with computer‑based WMS/ERP systems and handheld scanning devices.
  • Knowledge of and ability to comply with applicable safety and environmental regulations.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required OR 5 years of relevant warehouse experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing and walking.
  • Frequent reaching, bending/stooping, kneeling/crawling, climbing/balancing.
  • Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent push/pull 75–100 lbs. (equipment‑assisted).
  • Frequent use of hands/touch; ability to see close/peripheral/depth and adjust focus.
