Janitor

Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00am to 3:00pm Pay:
Starting at $17/ hr

Job Requirements:

• Preferred:
  Janitorial experience and 1-2 years at a previous position, but not required.
• Must be reliable, able to follow written and verbal instructions, and work in a manufacturing facility keeping the plant and workstations clean.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and work with hands throughout the entire shift.

Job Description:

• Follow a printed work schedule and be alert for any unusual tasks that need attention.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas while also keeping an eye on potential safety hazards like clutter or debris on floors.
• Communicate with the janitor on the next shift regarding the status of supplies or any other important information.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are returned to the janitor's cabinet and restocked for the next shift.
• Mop buckets must be emptied and returned to their proper location at the end of the shift.
• Before shift completion, restock restroom supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap) for employees starting and ending their shifts.
• Periodically check the break room to ensure cups and paper towels are available for employees.
