** Maintenance Manager Streetsboro, OH First shift (7a-3p)
** Seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a high-performing Maintenance Supervisor ready to step into broader leadership, ownership, and strategic responsibility. You will oversee equipment reliability, preventive maintenance programs, and a small team, while partnering cross-functionally to drive uptime, safety, and continuous improvement.
** Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:
*** Lead day-to-day maintenance operations, including scheduling, troubleshooting, and team coordination
* Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians; build bench strength within the team
* Own and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on manufacturing equipment
* Partner with production to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal disruption
* Manage outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and projects
* Track KPIs (downtime, MTBF, MTTR) and drive data-based improvements
* Support capital projects, equipment installs, and facility upgrades
* Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies
* Maintain spare parts inventory and support cost control initiatives
** Maintenance Manager
Qualifications:
*** 5–10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
* 1–3+ years of leadership experience (Maintenance Lead or Supervisor level)
* Strong troubleshooting capability across mechanical and electrical systems
* Experience with preventive maintenance systems (CMMS preferred)
* Working knowledge of PLCs and automated equipment (troubleshooting level)
* Proven ability to lead from the floor while developing a team
* Strong communication skills and ability to partner with production leadership
