Primary
Purpose:
Responsibilities:
- Install, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems to control and monitor industrial machinery and equipment
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on industrial control systems to ensure optimal functionality
- Diagnose and resolve issues in PLCs, sensors, motors, drives, and other electrical components
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to design and implement control systems for new projects
- Conduct thorough testing of control systems to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately for future reference

Essential qualifications and skills
- High school diploma or equivalent;
Associate's degree or certification in a related field is preferred - Proven experience as an Industrial Controls Technician with strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with various brands of PLCs such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Schneider Electric
- Proficient in reading electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Ability to diagnose issues in electrical systems using diagnostic tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform quick repairs under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
