Primary

Purpose:

Responsibilities:

• Install, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems to control and monitor industrial machinery and equipment
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on industrial control systems to ensure optimal functionality
• Diagnose and resolve issues in PLCs, sensors, motors, drives, and other electrical components
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to design and implement control systems for new projects
• Conduct thorough testing of control systems to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately for future reference

Essential qualifications and skills

• High school diploma or equivalent;
  Associate's degree or certification in a related field is preferred
• Proven experience as an Industrial Controls Technician with strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with various brands of PLCs such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Schneider Electric
• Proficient in reading electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Ability to diagnose issues in electrical systems using diagnostic tools
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform quick repairs under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
