Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Description/Job Summary SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION
Schedule:
ay - Friday 7:00a.m.
- 4:00p.m., overtime as needed.
Job Summary:
Conducts preventive maintenance and required maintenance on equipment and structures as needed.
Conducts maintenance activities including but not limited to, greasing, parts/equipment replacement, trouble shooting, installation, structure repair, inspection of equipment, product protection during maintenance, and reconciliation of parts and tools.
Also, Responsible for ensuring that equipment and areas are clean following maintenance activities.
Will also assist with helping keep the company grounds manicured by mowing and spraying as needed.
Basic Qualifications- Must possess mechanical aptitude.
- Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, twist, and turn throughout the day.
- Must be willing to climb up to 100ft.
- Must be willing to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Must be able to read, speak, and understand the English language fluently.
- Must be willing to be trained to operate heavy machinery.
- Must be willing to be trained to operate forklift.
- Prior experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be willing and able to wear the required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Must be willing to follow all safety and food safety rules.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
