Responsibilities
  • Carry out regular cleaning of welfare facilities, including toilets, washrooms, showers, canteens and kitchenettes, offices, meeting rooms and corridors, drying rooms and changing areas.
  • Empty bins and manage waste disposal in line with site procedures.
  • Replenish supplies (soap, hand towels, toilet rolls, sanitiser, etc.).
  • Ensure welfare areas are kept tidy, safe, and compliant with health and safety standards.
  • Report any damages, defects, or maintenance needs to the site supervisor.
  • Support general housekeeping duties across site where required.
  • Work collaboratively with other labourers and contractors to maintain safe working conditions.
  • Follow all Sizewell C health, safety, and security protocols.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in cleaning, welfare, or facilities support (construction site experience desirable).
  • CSCS card (Labourer) or willingness to obtain prior to start.
  • Strong awareness of health, safety, and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work independently with good attention to detail.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
