Servpro of Suffolk is hiring for Mitigation/Restoration Technician positions. These positions are guaranteed $40,000 per year. With bonuses, profit sharing, and PPE pay, all production team members make over $40,000 a year. Paid vacation and paid time off amount to over 4 weeks per year.
This position requires physical labor. Daily tasks include tearing up floors, removing drywall, cleaning up water, setting up drying equipment, cleaning & mitigating mold, and addressing fires.
We are often the first people on the scene after a major disaster in a home, so if you find satisfaction in helping others, this position might be a perfect fit.
Experience in the restoration and construction industry is a plus, but not required. We will train you. We seek people with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and values of Integrity, Hustle, and Teamwork.
Qualifications- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
- Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
