Custodian 2nd Shift (PT) – Sugar Grove Campus

Join Waubonsee Community College as a Custodian in the 2nd Shift. This part‑time role supports daily operations on campus buildings.

• Coordinate and maintain cleanliness of facilities on campus in a manner that presents the best image of the college at all times.
• Inspect and monitor assigned building(s), check for cleanliness, restock restrooms, and handle minor emergencies to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Clean interior glass surfaces at least twice a month in all buildings or as required.
• Assist in furniture moving or set‑ups as directed.
• Monitor custodial supply inventory, request additional stock as required, and verify all inventory is kept in a neat and orderly manner within your assigned area.
• Identify and report maintenance problems on campus to the Shift Lead Custodian, Facilities Services Supervisor, and/or the Director of Buildings, Grounds and Events.
• Perform snow removal as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of successful employment in a custodial position preferred.
• Physical ability to lift 35 pounds individually required.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work well independently.

M–Th 6 pm–11 pm, F 5 pm–10 pm.
