Maintenance Technician

We have an immediate opening for a Facilities Technician II (Cold Side). This role is for results‑driven individuals who want to make a daily impact while working with a team of like‑minded, self‑directed, detail‑oriented professionals in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

• Manage day‑to‑day facility operations and maintenance across multiple sites within a large geographic area.
• Efficiently handle a substantial volume of service requests, prioritizing tasks to ensure prompt resolution.
• Collaborate with facilities management and operations teams to assess facility requirements and project planning.
• Supervise facility maintenance contracts and oversee preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Administer the facility work order system, ensuring timely assignment and completion of all work orders.
• Serve on a rotating on‑call schedule for facility issues once a month.
• Serve as the primary contact for vendors and contractors, managing relationships and ensuring contract compliance.
• Accurately input and track data in the work order system to monitor service requests and assign tasks to the appropriate providers.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, ice machines, electrical systems, and plumbing fixtures.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment functions efficiently and safely.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues and implement solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and installations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated.

• Proven experience in HVAC, refrigeration, ice machines, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Capability to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
