We have an immediate opening for a Facilities Technician II (Cold Side). This role is for results‑driven individuals who want to make a daily impact while working with a team of like‑minded, self‑directed, detail‑oriented professionals in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

- Manage day‑to‑day facility operations and maintenance across multiple sites within a large geographic area.
- Efficiently handle a substantial volume of service requests, prioritizing tasks to ensure prompt resolution.
- Collaborate with facilities management and operations teams to assess facility requirements and project planning.
- Supervise facility maintenance contracts and oversee preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
- Administer the facility work order system, ensuring timely assignment and completion of all work orders.
- Serve on a rotating on‑call schedule for facility issues once a month.
- Serve as the primary contact for vendors and contractors, managing relationships and ensuring contract compliance.
- Accurately input and track data in the work order system to monitor service requests and assign tasks to the appropriate providers.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, ice machines, electrical systems, and plumbing fixtures.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment functions efficiently and safely.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues and implement solutions.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and installations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated.
- Proven experience in HVAC, refrigeration, ice machines, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Capability to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
