About the team:

The Exterior Services Technician team is dedicated to maintaining Walmart facilities through landscaping, snow removal, and seasonal upkeep. They efficiently manage projects, coordinate resources, and oversee third-party providers while ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards. The team fosters collaboration and accountability to achieve business goals and deliver quality results. Emphasizing clear communication and continuous improvement, they create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all associates and customers throughout the year.

What you'll do:

* Operate and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment following safety protocols and certification requirements.

* Perform seasonal exterior maintenance including snow and ice management to ensure safe facility conditions.

* Conduct quality assurance inspections and troubleshoot facility issues to meet operational standards.

* Manage vehicle maintenance, safety checks, and documentation to ensure readiness and compliance.

* Coordinate purchases of parts, equipment, and supplies while controlling costs and submitting warranty claims.

* Lead and develop third-party providers, fostering professional growth and ensuring service quality.

* Support compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company policies to maintain a safe and ethical work environment.

What you'll bring:

* Proven ability to operate and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment safely and efficiently.

* Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

* Experience managing facility exterior services, including seasonal maintenance such as snow and ice removal.

* Competence in troubleshooting equipment issues and providing technical support for repairs and maintenance.

* Ability to prepare and manage budgets, including cost estimates and purchase approvals.

* Effective communication skills to coordinate with management, third-party providers, and facility users.

* Commitment to upholding company policies, ethics, and quality standards in all tasks.
