Requisition

• Provide and coordinate production reliability improvement efforts and equipment troubleshooting support with production, maintenance, and engineering teams; serve as first line of advanced troubleshooting.
• Coordinate facility, trade and OEM-service contractors, ensuring work is performed as expected and compliant with PAD safety standards; act as in-house expert on facility and production operations.
• Maintain control and electrical drawings; manage PLC/HMI programs for compounding, packaging and building systems; edit and write PLC programs; create/modify HMI screens; perform basic electrical troubleshooting and functional modifications.
• Collaborate on team projects to problem-solve and improve processes and procedures that enhance OEE, safety, quality, and work environment.
• Focus on equipment reliability and identify opportunities to drive manufacturing capacity and capabilities within the factory.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience with automation and controls, including at least 2 years in a consumer-packaged goods or related industry manufacturing and production environment.
• Demonstrated, independent execution of electrical or automation projects.

• Ability to create, modify and troubleshoot complex PLC programs and HMI programs; ability to read electrical schematics.
• Working knowledge of Rockwell Automation PLC and HMI programming software.
• Working knowledge of high-speed packaging equipment; experience with mechanical/pneumatic functions and operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues; strong coaching, training and teamwork skills; organized with diverse teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines; adapt to urgent production needs; willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Support TPM and S5 initiatives.
