GMP General Cleaner - Overnight Shift

We are looking for a responsible and quality-driven GMP Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will support a manufacturing facility, provide specialized cleaning services, and maintain a neat and orderly work area. Experience in manufacturing cleaning and advanced cleaning skills are required. High energy, strong organizational skills, and pride in delivering excellent service are essential.

• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Perform daily and periodic tasks in assigned areas as directed
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area, including janitorial closets and storage areas
• Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition, and notify the Manager or Supervisor if repair or replacement is necessary
• Maintain appropriate supply levels in assigned janitorial closets and storage areas
• Work safely at all times and promptly inform management about unsafe conditions existing in the work area
• Wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the task being performed
• Assist in orientation and training for new employees as directed
• Adhere to proper security procedures
• Notify management about problems or opportunities that affect service to the customer
• Perform other cleaning-related duties as required
• Proper GMP documentation, including good penmanship
• General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Clean and restock restrooms
• Empty trash and recycling bins
• Ensure doors are locked after hours
• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment
• Other responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor

• 2-3 years of previous manufacturing cleaning experience required
• 6 months to 1 year of advanced cleaning skills, such as hard floor and carpet maintenance, required
• Ability to speak, write and read English is preferred and may be required by some customers
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to manage your time efficiently
• Work well when supervisors are not present
• Ability to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies
• Ability to work independently or with a team
• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
