Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center is seeking a Per Diem Environmental Aide I (Housekeeping) for the Environmental Services Department. Required hours are: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
, including every other weekend and on‑call. Starting rate $21.21 / hr
.

This position is eligible for the Atlantic Health System #teen hiring initiative (specific shifts).

• General cleaning: empty trash, high/low dusting, mop floors, sanitize all furniture in inpatient rooms, clean commodes and bathrooms, discard debris, remove soiled linen and replace with fresh linen in patient rooms.
• Work at Union Campus as needed.
• Clean bodily fluids.

• HS Diploma or GED/Equivalent required or will obtain within 1 year of employment.
• Must read, write, and speak English.
• Solid work history required.
• Must meet fit testing requirement.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must be 16 or older (prior to hire, must complete NJA
  300 Combined Certification Form/Working Papers).
• If 16 or 17 years‑old, valid working papers required.
• Prior experience in housekeeping in a hospital or institutional setting or related field preferred.
• Prior floor‑care experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience in healthcare, hospitality, or relevant area preferred.
