Position: Janitorial Support
OVERVIEW:

The Facilities Support role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized environment across all Dillanos facilities. This position provides essential daily coverage during high-traffic afternoon and early evening hours, ensuring that work spaces are cleaned, restocked, and prepared for the next day. Facilities Support also assists the maintenance team by handling non-technical tasks, enabling maintenance staff to focus on production-critical work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Facility Cleanliness & Safety Clean and maintain restrooms, breakrooms, offices, training spaces, and warehouse areas.

Perform daily trash and recycling collection.

Sanitize high-touch surfaces and maintain a food-safe, safety-compliant environment.

Respond promptly to spills, hazards, and urgent facility needs during production hours.

Complete routine floor care, including sweeping, mopping, spot-cleaning, and dusting.

Regular general housekeeping.

Setting up rooms for events and returning them to their original layout afterward.

Most tasks will be completed on a rotating basis, requiring attention to specific areas multiple times throughout the week or month, as these duties are ongoing and repeatable.

Operational & Maintenance Assistance Support the maintenance team by handling non-technical facility tasks.

Replace light bulbs, restock supplies, and assist with light facility upkeep.

Help with event or meeting setup and cleanup as needed.

Assist with basic exterior cleaning, such as spot window cleaning or light pressure washing.

Replenish first aid kits and support inventory tracking.

Facility Supplies & Inventory Management Monitor and restock custodial and facility supplies.

Maintain organized storage of cleaning materials and facility tools.

Provide input on supply consolidation and cost-effective purchasing.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

Preferably 1+ years of custodial, janitorial, or facility support experience.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.

Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload effectively.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, or ladder use.

Basic knowledge of cleaning practices, tools, and safety procedures.

Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments.

WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
