Assistant Maintenance Supervisor – Tarragon Property Services
Salary: $28–$32 per hour. Full benefits.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Location:
Seattle, Bothell, Sammamish, Enumclaw, Auburn, Puyallup, Olympia, Bremerton, Port Orchard.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in property management maintenance, building maintenance, or a related trade is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
- Proficiency with a personal computer and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as other computer tracking systems used at the property.
- Ability to use standard maintenance equipment.
- Required to travel to all TPS properties.
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in overseeing on‑site maintenance staff.
- Diagnose and repair issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool systems, carpentry, drywalling, exterior structural components, and appliances.
- Schedule, monitor, and perform preventative maintenance and apartment turns.
- Purchase maintenance supplies within the planned budget.
- Conduct inspections before and after move‑ins, move‑outs, and apartment turns to ensure compliance with Company Standards.
- Respond promptly to resident work order requests and delegate tasks effectively to maintenance staff.
- Perform regular property inspections to maintain cleanliness and identify potential issues.
- Obtain bids from outside contractors and ensure work is completed to the highest standards.
- Prepare and submit property invoices accurately.
- Assist in vendor selection and maintain positive vendor relationships.
- Provide high‑quality customer service to prospective and current tenants.
- Participate in Company‑provided training sessions (fair housing, safety, non‑discrimination, harassment prevention, etc.).
- Comply with Company National Standards, health and safety rules, and local, state, and federal laws.
- Respond to on‑call duty as scheduled.
- Perform daily inspections of pool and fitness areas to ensure safety.
