Bldg​/Grnds Spec III FMO

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial work and general maintenance duties at the Army Aviation Support Facility #2 and FMS at Donaldson Center.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including refilling dispensers, washing walls, toilets, urinals, mirrors, countertops, and cabinets following manufacturer instructions for chemicals and supplies.
• Assist senior maintenance technician with routine building systems maintenance, including lamp and lighting replacement, minor plumbing repairs such as stopping drain blockages and fixing leaks in supply and waste systems.
• Assist with minor repairs and adjustments to doors, door hardware, closers, and exit/egress devices.
• Operate buffer safely and ensure proper disposal procedures for used chemicals.
• Maintain knowledge of techniques, equipment, and procedures for floor maintenance.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Custodial or groundskeeping experience directly related to the area of employment.
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, stand for long periods, climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, hot, hazardous, noisy locations, and adverse weather conditions.
