Job Summary

Custodian position at Gaffney High School for a 12‑month term (260 days). Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.

• Perform daily custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
• Clean classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages.
• Follow safety protocols and school policy regarding hazardous materials.
• Assist with setting up or clearing classroom spaces as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Completed application on Frontline Education.
• Pass background check, tuberculosis screening, and drug/alcohol test.
