A growing manufacturer serving nationally recognized food, retail, institutional, and government contract customers is seeking an experienced Multicraft Maintenance Technician to join its highly automated production facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, working with automated systems, and helping improve plant reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This facility utilizes a wide variety of automated packaging, batching, conveying, robotic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Key Equipment:- Robotic arms
- Tray pack machines (TTM)
- Packaging machinery
- Mixing and batching systems
- Boilers and steam systems
- Flowmeters and automated valves
- Inkjet printers and product coders
- Pneumatic cylinders
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation-related issues
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
- Diagnose issues involving photoeye sensors, proximity sensors, relays, motors, drives, and control systems
- Replace and troubleshoot motors, bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, and power transmission components
- Troubleshoot conveyor systems and packaging equipment
- Support robotic systems and automated production equipment
- Perform VFD replacement, setup, and troubleshooting
- Conduct boiler safety checks, blowdowns, and water testing procedures
- Maintain pneumatic systems, valves, actuators, and compressed air equipment
- Complete work orders and PMs through CMMS software
- Order maintenance parts and manage inventory requirements
- Read blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical documentation
- Follow OSHA, food safety, and company safety standards
- Assist with continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience troubleshooting automated production equipment
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Experience with food manufacturing, packaging equipment, batching systems, or conveyor operations preferred
- PLC troubleshooting experience highly desired (programming not required)
